Eton School educates the whole child and honors the diversity of each individual from Pre-elementary (Age 3) to Grade 8.
As a school that culminates with Grade 8, our focus is on the journey from a preschooler to an elementary child and then through the beginning of their adolescence, which is a very sensitive time.
Though our doors open only through eighth grade, the lessons, friendships, and confidence we nurture stay with our students forever-proof that being Age 3 through Grade 8 on purpose truly matters.
Dual Accreditation: Northwest Association of Independent
Schools (NWAIS) and American Montessori Society (AMS).
Pre-elementary (age 3-Kindergarten)through Lower
Elementary (Grades 1-3) use traditional Montessori and contemporary
materials.
Upper Elementary(Grades 4-5) and Middle School (Grades
6-8) levelscontinuethe Montessori philosophy of
educating the whole child.
Spanish is taught to students in Kindergarten through Grade
8.
Enrichment teachers for Environmental Education, Library and
Information Science, Performing Arts, Spanish, and Visual
Arts.
Before/After School Childcare (7:45 a.m. to start of class and
after class until 6 p.m.)
Full-day/week childcare is available during Parent/Guardian
Conferences, some Professional Development Days, special days when
classes are closed, and during Mid-winter and Spring Breaks.

I was reluctant to put my children in private school and even more reluctant to put them in a Montessori school because of bad experiences I''ve had in the past. My husband had his heart set on it, though, so I agreed to give it a year. The social and academic changes in my children were unmistakable. Four years later, we''ve started our fourth child at this school and wouldn't want them to go anywhere else!

Serving students for 35 years, Eton School offers a unique and developmentally appropriate education. Montessori meets the needs and challenges all students including gifted children because it follows the child allowing for the child's education grow in depth and width rather than just adding busy work. The smaller classes at all levels allows the teachers time to get to know, teach, observe, and evaluate all children as individuals rather than as a number in a class or grade book. All students completing 8th grade at Eton School have been accepted into the school of their choice after graduation.

Excellent Montessori school with great teachers and head of school. It has specialist for music, art and PE as well as for Japanese, French and Spanish! We love Eton!
