- Lake Forest Academy, founded in 1857, is a product of a boys' school and girls' school, Ferry Hall. We admit both day and boarding school students who are enthusiastic learners and ready for different experiences. We have students of various backgrounds from all over the world and we provide educational experiences that extend beyond the classroom.
