Seattle Lutheran High School Photo #2 - Eight sports teams are supported at Seattle Lutheran High School by students, parents alumni, and an active Booster Club: Volleyball, Soccer, boys and girls basketball, Baseball, Cross Country , Track and Cheer. SLHS competes in the 2B classification and are members of the SeaTac B League.

However, SLHS is not just solely focused on academics, but also encourages students to explore their passions and try new things. One such opportunity is in J-Term.
Seattle Lutheran High School Photo #4 - Featuring a catalog of over 25 various courses, J-Term is the opportunity for students to explore their interests more in-depth or engage in a new experience or topic that they otherwise might not have tried. Taking place in the month of January, students select three courses which vary from the arts, music, personal health and well-being, political and sociological topics.
Seattle Lutheran High School Photo #5 - Seattle Lutheran High School Robotics is one of the oldest continually active teams in Washington state. Each season Team SeaBot builds and programs their robot for FIRST`s yearly competitions. FIRST stands for "For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology" and SeaBot has been competing in their competitions since 2004
Seattle Lutheran High School Photo #6 - Music and drama are an important part of Seattle Lutheran, and all students are encouraged to participate whether it is on stage or behind the scenes. Whether you like to sing, dance, act or design sets, there is a spot for you on the crew.
Seattle Lutheran High School Photo #7 - Service to the community is a pillar of Seattle Lutheran. All students are required to serve a certain amount of community service hours to their local communities or organizations. Seniors serve 60 hours for their senior project to learn new skills and to become aware of abroader scope of living by contributing to the well-being of others.
Seattle Lutheran High School Photo #8 - Students begin using the college and career software, Naviance, freshman year to help guide their pathway forward. The 28 students in the class of 2021 graduated 22 with honors, 17 were members of National Honor Society and 9 were members of Mu Alpha Theta National Math Honorary. 95% of graduating students are accepted into post-secondary institutions.
