The Happy Childrens Montessori

  • Happy Children's Montessori School is a Christian Montessori school for children ages 3 to 6 years.
  • Our goal is to provide a program which helps each child to grow academically, socially and spiritually.
  • The Montessori program is a hands-on, individualized program in which children are encouraged to learn at their own pace in the areas which interest them most.
  • Other important skills learned in a Montessori classroom are self-directedness, concentration and focusing skills, a strong sense of responsibility, respect for oneself, one's environment and the people in one's environment.
  • The social part of the program encourages children to use respectful conflict resolution skills with one another.
  • We use grace and courtesy lessons to teach manners, proper handling of materials, respect of one's classmate's work and work space and respect of the environment.
  • We always stress the importance of treating each other and the materials in the classroom with respect and kindness.
