School Notes

  • Jubilee is a unique school where the love of learning begins. Our integrated approach to education is built arounda distinctmonthly unit of study for each grade level that is integrated across the subject areas taught. This enables students to see the connection of concepts, grow in curiosity, and build a life-long love of learning. Our teachers bring faith that is focused on the love of God in Jesus Christ into the classroom, which builds character and a quest for excellence instudents. Every month students participate in hands-on projects, and develop written and/or oral reportson a subject that ties into their unit of study. Extensive field trips give meaning and purpose to the unit. Overnight field trips to Philadelphia and Gettysburgin 5th and 6th grade complete the Early American and Civil War units. Every March, an all-school unit focuses on historical, geographical, and cultural aspects of a particular country.Parents are encouraged to participate in their child's educationby volunteering in a variety of operational or strategic programs. The family atmosphere crosses all economic and social backgrounds, with siblings and parents playing a key partin our everyday educational experience. An after-school and before-school program is in place to help familieswith childcare.
