Safe Harbor Maritime Academy, a boys home founded in 1984 in Jacksonville, Florida, provides a therapeutic boarding school environment using the waterfront as an educational facility for teenage boys, age 15-17, who are struggling.

Safe Harbor provides a safe, stable, structured, alternative home environment; boys live aboard vessels, learning seamanship and maritime skills as well as studying for a high school diploma.

The purpose of Safe Harbor is to assist the boys in becoming responsible, mature and independent young men through spiritual, educational and vocational training.
