- McGinnis Woods School, established in 1999, is a private, non-parochial school offering a challenging Preschool, Elementary and Middle School Education. The beautiful school campus which is located in Alpharetta. The Preschool accepts children as young as 6 weeks and the Elementary/Middle School teaches students in PreK 4 through 8th grade. McGinnis Woods School holds top accreditations, including GAC, SACS, and NAEYC.
- The mission of McGinnis Woods is to inspire students with the passion to excel. This is accomplished by providing superior hands-on, minds-on academics which foster self-confidence and inspire a lifelong love of learning. Superior educational resources are implemented to maximize the learning experience of our diverse student population. Small class sizes with low student-teacher ratios and individualized education is a McGinnis Woods distinctive. Students learn through a variety of engaging teaching techniques and technology, an emphasis on differentiated groupings, STEM, and projects which make each day unique. Frequent guest speakers, monthly field trips for each grade level, and community service round out the curriculum. Drama Club, Competitive Sports, Robotics, and Science Olympiad teams train year round. After school programs and Specialty Clubs are also available.
