Metro Catholic School is a Preschool through Gr. 8 program located at two campuses on Cleveland's Near West Side. We serve the educational needs of a diverse and changing population. Currently Metro Catholic serves over 400 students from Preschool to Grade 8, located at two campuses: St. Boniface and St. Stephen. Most important-Metro Catholic successfully educates Cleveland`s urban youth.Metro Catholic is the only Cleveland Catholic elementary school with extensive programs to assist refugee students and those with cognitive learning disabilities. We are especially proud of our very diverse student population. Operations are funded through tuition, State of Ohio Educational Vouchers, contributed services of the Sisters of Notre Dame and fund development. Metro Catholic isA National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence, A National Green Ribbon School,5-Star Step Up To Quality Preschooland a member ofSchools That Can, a national network of high-performing schools operating in urban neighborhoods. All instructors are certified / licensed by the State of Ohio. The staff includes specialists for art, music, computer, enrichment and special education plus many support staff and tutors.
