We offer multi age programs for children from infancy to Grade 8 fostering the love of learning, academic excellence, creativity and mutual respect.The school features a collaborative learning environment, based on the time-honored principles developed by Dr. Maria Montessori over 100 years ago, designed to stimulate each student`s critical thinking skills, cultivate inquisitive minds and empower children to actively participate in the rapidly changing environment of the 21st century.The Montessori teaching methodology is uniquely based upon observation, peer learning, tactile learning materials and intrinsic motivation.
Within each classroom, multiple grades or levels of students are combined, creating an environment whereby students serve as leaders for one-another.

Our family has been part of the Waves of Wonder Montessori community for several years, and we have truly enjoyed watching the school grow. This past year came with unexpected challenges, including teacher changes right before the school year started, but we saw the administration and staff work hard to adapt and continue providing a great experience for the students.Some projects and programs looked different this year, but change is not always a bad thing. We saw new ideas brought in and a continued effort to make things better for the children.What stands out most is the care the teachers have for their students. Our child has grown in confidence, independence, and love for learning. WOWMS is a community where children are known, supported, and valued, and we are grateful to be part of it.

We have had an incredible experience at Waves of Wonder Montessori School. Our child has been enrolled since the infant room, and the growth we've seen over the years has been truly amazing. The teachers foster independence, confidence, and a genuine love of learning in such a thoughtful and nurturing way.Our child has developed strong independence, problem-solving skills, and social awareness well beyond what we expected at this age. The Montessori approach is clearly respected and implemented with intention, and the staff truly cares about each child as an individual.We highly recommend this school to any family looking for a supportive, enriching Montessori environment.
