But Jesus said, Let the little children come unto Me, and do not forbid them; for such is the kingdom of heaven' (Matthew 19:14). Children are a blessing from the Lord. The qualified staff of Keswick Kid's Preschool understand this and take great pride in providing a safe and nurturing environment for little ones.
Lower School students in kindergarten through fifth grades enjoy and learn through a biblically-centered curriculum emphasizing the mastery of core subjects including Bible, mathematics, English, reading, science, and history. In addition to these core academics, the students participate in Spanish, instrumental and vocal music, physical education, art, computer and library classes each week.
The Upper School, grades 6-12, provides a caring and challenging learning environment. Knowing, believing, and communicating the truth are major emphases. Students are encouraged to analyze and evaluate divergent world views in the light of the biblical system of belief. The curriculum is predominately college preparatory and students are pushed to pursue excellence in every area.
At Keswick, we seek to teach our students that, since God has given us creative abilities, we use those abilities for God's glory, as a ministry to others, and as a way for all to enjoy God's creation.
Physical health is a priority at Keswick along with developing the heart and mind. Our regular PE classes are fun, engaging and challenging!
Athletic and fine arts performances and competitions, community-wide service projects, retreats, missions trips, leadership conferences, uplifting and edifying chapels and spiritual emphases, and fun social events all make the life of the Upper School at Keswick worth the investment.
Keswick Christian School provides a robust offering of Advanced Placement courses.
From the basics, all the way to an advanced college preparatory course load, a Keswick education puts your child on a solid academic footing. All subject matter is taught within a Biblical worldview, as we believe education and Christian spiritual formation go hand in hand. At Keswick, we are fully dedicated to the development of your child's heart and mind.
Athletics is an integral part of Keswick Christian School. It complements the academic program and puts into practice the strategies and thinking processes that are presented elsewhere at KCS. Learning to glorify Christ in actions, reactions, thoughts, and attitudes is the goal.
  • Founded in 1953, Keswick is Pinellas County's first private Christian School.
  • We are the only area Christian School that partners exclusively with Christian families and their local church. We strive to provide high-quality education that excels in academics, athletics and the arts, and that graduates young people who love, trust, and obey God.

School Reviews

Keswick is special. Since their admissions policy is that at least one parent be a believer in Jesus Christ and part of a church, the atmosphere/student body is so different and like-minded here than at other area Christian schools that have an open enrollment. I know because I went to two of them before my parents finally let me come back and graduate at Keswick! I now have my daughter here. There is a welcoming, homey feel on this campus and the fact that the teachers, administrators, and families truly love and serve the Lord SHOWS.
